RULES, FAQs, INFO

rules and general info
• FIRST AND FOREMOST We've all seen it too many times: OOC drama. We're all friends here and we're all experienced enough to know the general rules (no godmodding, etc.) of such.

• CHARACTER LIMITS Because this is meant to be a small game and has limited characters, we're setting a character limit to one main character. This is discussed further in the frequently asked question (faq) section below.

• APPLICATION The original application or a modified version of the application should be kept within the journal. It helps others to be able to read up on your character, so please do not delete these posts.

• ACTIVITY While this will not be a particularly demanding game, we do require that a sign of in character life be shown at least once a week from each character. Even so, if we notice a decrease in your activity, we will send you an e-mail kindly reminding you to update. If we receive no response, you and your character(s) will be removed from the game. We understand that real life can throw unexpected hurdles, but we expect that you will let us know should you need to take a break.

• are OCs (original characters) allowed?
At this point, OCs will not be accepted; however, we may allow them at a later time. With that said, be aware that we will be extremely picky when it comes to OCs, for the sake of preventing a Mary Sue/Gary Stu infestation.

• is there a character limit?
Yes and no. To prevent character hogging, there is a one main character limit. Minor characters are basically a free-for-all provided you can maintain a realistic approach, as well as a decent level of activity for your other characters. This is subject to change for each individual case.

• well, what counts as a "main character" and a minor character?
Main characters include the names we've become aware of through the series. These include Bella Swan, the Cullens, Jacob, etc. Minor characters are nameless characters--such as miscellaneous vampires of the Volturi or Denali clans, and Joe Schmoe from Bella's math class.

• how do the journals work?
Characters should update as if these were their personal journals. Characters can update personal journals or online blogs, both of which would be posted to the character's journal. Additionally, they can send emails, text messages and leave voice messages on characters' phones. These should be posted to the main community. Formats for these are posted HERE. Remember that "Privacy Hex" from Harry Potter RP? That doesn't exist here ;) If you want your character to hold a private conversation with another, they can opt to create a friend-filter (you don't actually filter the posts, just make a note that it would be filtered to a specific character). An example of this would be "Filtered to the Cullens and Bella."
